Disaster of the cruise ship Costa Concordia near the coast of Italy
On the night of January 13-14, 2012, the cruise ship Costa Concordia sank in the Tyrrhenian Sea near the Italian island of Giglio. This tragedy resulted in the death of several people and caused serious damage to the health of many survivors.
As a result of the accident, a large number of passengers received various injuries, many lost their personal belongings and luggage. Many of the victims required long-term treatment and rehabilitation after this terrible disaster.
