Ethiopian Airlines plane crash near Beirut, Lebanon

On January 25, 2010, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737, operating flight ET409 on the Beirut-Addis Ababa route, crashed near Beirut. All 90 people on board died – 82 passengers and 8 crew members.

Lawyers of DTK Partners, together with American and Lebanese law firms, began representing the interests of relatives of the victims. A lawsuit was filed in an American court against Boeing and the airline. As part of the proceedings in an American court, a settlement agreement was reached with the defendants.
