Tatarstan Airlines plane crash in Kazan
On November 17, 2013, a tragedy occurred at the Kazan airport – the Boeing 737-500 (53A) of Tatarstan Airlines, performing flight U9-363 on the Moscow-Kazan route, crashed. As a result, all 50 people on board died – 44 passengers and 6 crew members.
