DTK Partners Filed Appeal After Jurisdiction Was Denied
At first, the French court refused to hear the case. It said that the court had no jurisdiction.
DTK Partners filed an appeal to challenge this decision. The appeal asks the court to review its position and accept the case.
If accepted, this appeal could set an international precedent. It would allow similar air crash cases to be heard outside the country of the accident.
The ATR 72 crash in Tyumen shows how cross-border legal tools can protect victims’ rights.
