Air crash of an Air France plane over the Atlantic ocean
On June 1, 2009, an Airbus A330-203 operated by Airfrance en route Rio de Janeiro to Paris crashed under the Atlantic Ocean. All 228 people aboard were killed – 12 crew members and 216 passengers.
The lawyers of DTK Partners together with American, French and Brazilian partner law firms filed suits to the courts of the USA, Brazil and France against Societe Air France, Airbus SAS, Airbus Americas, INC, Honeywell International and other companies. As part of the proceedings in the US court, a settlement was reached.
